I have lived, worked and played in the Sun Valley are for over 38 years. I first came to Idaho as an aircraft mechanic. That lasted less than a year, then I found Silver Creek. That introduction changed everything. I began guiding fly-fishing in the early Eighties and have never looked back. After working for a few local shops I landed at Silver Creek Outfitters where I currently hang my waders. I have an addiction for the "bigger" more "difficult" fish. I have always said, "you going to remember 10-10 inchers, or one 20 incher?" Over time I began to give more attention to conservation, Silver Creek specifically. I started a web site as a repository for all data concerning Silver Creek called SaveSilverCreek.org that I continue to administer and manage to this day. This work has been very rewarding and continues to further my knowledge in Silver Creek. Silver Creek is a fishery that is an icon in the fishing community and a resource that we must never loose or see suffer. If you fish with me on Silver Creek, I might not be able to keep quiet about it's conservation. But I promise, we will fish and you might get lucky, but you will learn how you can improve you skills to catch fish in it's waters!
